HE. SHE. THEY. A PLACE WITHOUT PREJUDICE FOR PEOPLE TO BE PEOPLE

After a much talked about debut as part of London Fashion Week festival back in February, the inclusive, polysexual He.She.They is pleased to announce a second standout event at Ministry of Sound. Taking over all three rooms on Saturday 30th June is a world class selection of house and techno talents in the form of Magda, Miss Kittin, Louisahhh, Maze & Masters, Wax Wings and Jonathan Bestley.

The first party proved to be a hugely vibrant and colourful affair that was much needed in clubland; from fashionistas to fetishists, the weird and the wonderful were free to express themselves in a safe and welcoming environment filled with positive, respectful like-minded people. This second event will build on that foundation with another special line-up.

Heading things up is Magda, the Polish- US techno heroine has headlined every acclaimed club in the world. From Hawtin stalwart to launching her own now influential Items & Things; Magda’s dark disco and minimal techno broke through the traditionally male dominated decks and opened a host of doors for other women in dance. As a DJ she is second to none but Magda’s creativity extends to tech collaborations, fashion and art as well as remixing Depeche Mode and Plastikman.

Next up, is very special guest Miss Kittin an equally pioneering force in the world of electronica. Collaborating with everyone from The Hacker to Sven Vath to Maya Jane Coles as an artist with huge global underground classics like “Rippin Kittin”, “Frank Sinatra” and “Madame Hollywood”. Her raw and visceral sounds in the DJ booth are a thing of legend so get ready for an education in techno.

Then comes American Louisahhh, a breakthrough techno superstar DJ, vocalist and producer with new wave influences. She recently linked with the

his latest album as well as releasing on her own RAAR label and always tears it up in the club.

As He.She.They has grown to Pacha, Ibiza and Berlin’s Watergate Wax Wings has become our resident and will return to open the main room at Ministry of Sound.

Maze & Masters and Jonathan Bestley also make a return from the debut London Event because they were just so darn impressive first time round.

Having impressed so much last time, leading dance troupe Little Gay Brother are back. From attire to dance moves, this crew pushes the envelope and ten of the family’s finest will be showing you how it’s done.

Hosts for the evening including iconic art house royalty Bishi, London’s female queen of drag Georgie Bee and performance artist Lewis G. Burton to make sure their won’t be a dull moment. With even more surprises to be announced; this He.She.They. is lining up to make sure this is another essential event in the clubbing calendar.

he.She.They’ mission Statement Can you remember when dance music culture was all about breaking down barriers

rather than building them? We can and we feel it’s time to return to those inclusive ideological roots. Let’s once again create memories and moments together with people we love and new people we meet in a collective experience. We want to create a place without prejudice; where people can be people to create a world whereby people feel like they belong whilst at the same time still expressing their utmost individuality and creativity of their own characters no matter what their age, race, background or sexual preference may be.
