A cracking start of the year for HMT As the leading transactional firm in the Thames


Valley, HMT continues its success in corporate finance with nine deals already completed this year of an aggregate value in excess of £100 million


HMT’s debt advisory team, led by partner Chris Gow, has recently advised global media connectivity provider Sohonet Group and FPE Capital on a multi-million- pound refinancing of the business to facilitate further growth. Earlier in the year, Gow and his team provided debt advisory services on the MBO of Europe’s leading manufacturer of precision pressings and stampings Clamason supported by Connection Capital and Santander.


HMT’s due diligence and transaction support team has also had a strong start to the year advising on the investment in Xupes by Downing, the

investment in My 1st Years by Beringea, the acquisition of Vee Bee Filtration by Signum Technology and the investment in cloud- based technology company ProspectSoft by Maven Capital Partners.


With several deals due to complete in the next few weeks, the corporate finance team is already taking the lead as the most active deal making team in the Thames Valley in 2017.
