The refurbishment of the Quarter Jack Suite in the Allendale


Community Centre is complete and the community is now making use of


this much improved facility. This facility is ready for East Dorset District Council to use as its new Chamber from 1st May.


Going for Growth – Apprenticeship Levy: Close to 100 business people recently attended a series of seminars organised by the Economic Development team. The programme of events welcomed businesses from across Christchurch and East Dorset and provided valuable information on the Government’s upcoming Apprenticeship Levy.


Dorset Police has recently launched a survey in order to gain a better insight into the concerns facing those living in rural areas, in order to ensure that the work of the Rural Crime Team is intelligence led and benefi ts rural communities.
