Credentialing Opportunities On-Line
Through AF COOL, you can earn industry-recognized certifi cations and licenses which help civilian employers understand the work experience you gained as an active duty service member.

Search for credentials related to your Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) on the AF COOL website,
https://afvec.langley.af.mil/afvec/Public/COOL/.
After selecting your preferred credential, an email will be sent to your supervisor to validate your eligibility criteria.
Review your exam study materials and submit any necessary forms or paperwork to the AF COOL website.
Once you are ready to test, start a funding request for the exam with AF COOL.
After the funding request is approved, you are ready to take your exam.
After taking the exam, follow up with the AF COOL CPO to ensure your scores qualify for the credential.
Paul Grewe
Originally from Estes Park, Colorado, Paul has traveled the world with the Air Force for 29 years as an active duty member, civilian employee and spouse. For the past two years, he has enjoyed working with the Outdoor Recreation Center staff, catering to customers' needs as the Facility Manager and Assistant Director. He enjoys all aspects of outdoor activities, from winter ski trips to boating in the summer. In his spare time, he enjoys doing all of these outdoor activities with his wife, Kim, and son, Reed. This summer, they will be moving to San Antonio to continue their Air Force adventure.
Kimberly Roland
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana and Birmingham, Alabama, Kim came to Misawa, her fi rst base, in September 2014. She has been the Assistant Manager of Café Mokuteki and Fit Pit Creations for the past two years. As a strong force in day-to- day operations, she always ensures the welfare of the employees and customers are taken care of. She also fi lls in during the absence of the manager and works morning, swing and the midnight shifts without hesitation. Her hobbies include traveling, taking pictures, learning the ukelele with friends, and spending time with her husband, 11 year old mini Schnauzer, and two year old cat.
