Vision launches Lifetime Warranty

Vision has announced a Life- time Warranty which will now apply to its entire product range, the first manufacturer in the industry to support its reseller channel to this extent. The Lifetime Warranty means that, if the product is still cur- rent, customers can choose a credit or replacement. If

it is

end of life, Vision will issue a credit against the original in- voice. Stuart Lockhart, director of Vision, explains: “We are a technically fo-

cussed manufacturer and the reliability of our products has become evident. Over the last 4 years our average failure rate across all products has been less than 0.3%. In that period we sold over a million products to resellers all over the world, so this impressive statistic prompted us to make the radical move of providing a Lifetime Warranty for our whole range.” To coincide with the introduc- tion of this service, Vision is also introducing a Lifetime Re- turns service, to help resellers manage stock and ensure they

are equipped for installations. The Vision team will take back any unopened, pristine stock and issue a credit against the original invoice, meaning that installers can safely order Vision accessories and return anything that is surplus to requirements for the project.

Panasonic also improves warranty

Panasonic customers are set to benefit from improved support to

their professional the warranty display

equipment. Working in partner- ship with its authorised service partner, Panasonic will be up- grading

offered

with the company’s full range of professional displays, from a return to base to an advanced swap service.

The new warranty is offered for all professional displays sold from February 2017. It will allow customers to con- tinue using Panasonic display technology with a replacement unit, permanently substituting

the faulty unit within approx- imately 2 business days. This will help to avoid the disruption that usually comes with send- ing a product away for repair. “Customers will need to reg- ister their unit, and submit a repair order either online, via phone or email,” said Donald Maidment, Head of Service for Panasonic. “Advanced swap warranty will become our de- fault, but we will maintain the option of a return to base war- ranty, for those customers for whom that is more appropri- ate.”
