At last month’s event, hosted by The Business Magazine at Oakley Hall Hotel, near Basingstoke, representatives from leading manufacturing businesses in southern England gathered together to network, exchange ideas, and listen to two guest speakers who embody the entrepreneurial outlook and attitude fostered by the Southern Manufacturing 100.

David Murray, publisher of The Business Magazine, introduced the evening by citing the continued resurgence in UK manufacturing, the sector having just delivered one of its strongest quarterly performances for a number of years, despite numerous economic and political headwinds.

Murray then introduced the two speakers for the evening, both of whom represented innovative businesses which combined first-class manufacturing capabilities with leading-edge technology.
