classic Pink Floyd material, including a complete rendition of ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. As there has been a high level

Have a laugh with Mike Bubbins

Mike Bubbins: Performing at Aberystwyth Arts Centre this week

COMEDY legend Mike Bubbins

will be treating Aberystwyth audiences to a night of laughter at the town’s Arts Centre on Thursday (Feb 2). A legend on the UK comedy

circuit, Mike has supported Rich Hall on tour and performs at festivals and clubs around the UK. While he may be blowing his

own trumpet, he’s pretty sure he’s the only comedy performer, writer and actor in the world who has also been a professional rugby player, a

teacher, a bodybuilder, and a finalist at the European Elvis Tribute Act Championship. Honestly. Now, for the first time, Mike

is heading out on tour with ‘Solid Gold – the Greatest Hits…So Far!’, a hilarious 90mins mix of the best bits from his first three solo shows. Mike is a regular host for BBC

Radio Wales live outside broadcasts and specials, is a guest presenter on Rhod Gilbert’s Radio Wales show and is the star of the smash hit podcast ‘The Unexplainers’ (alongside Goldie

Looking Chain’s Eggsy). His observational style combined

with a natural flair for storytelling make him a hit with audiences of all ages around the country. Fellow comedian Rhod Gilbert

said that Bubbins was ‘hilariously gifted, truly funny’, while Buzz magazine say that he ‘sets the bar ridiculously high’. Tickets for his performance are

available from the Arts Centre Box Office on 01970 623232 or online at www.aberystwythartscentre.co.uk.
