• This single use Portex Soft Seal Laryngeal Mask comes in individual pre-sterilsed packs. It provides many benefits to the ‘medic’ including elimination of the risk of cross infection between patients and allows easy access for flexible fibre optic guided placement of endotracheal tubes, smooth one-piece mould design including integral inflation line and features the exclusive Portex Soft Seal Cuff which reduces nitrous oxide diffusion.
• Better infection control - research has shown that even thoroughly cleaned reuseable airway devices still contain residual protein deposits which have the potential for disease transmission*. Supplied in individually pre-sterilised packs.
• Ease of access - the Portex Soft Seal Laryngeal Mask is designed to avoid the risk of blockage without the need for obstructive epiglottis bars, allowing easy access for flexible fibre optic devices and flexible fibre optic guided placement of endotracheal tubes.
• A clear view - with the translucent tubing of the Portex Soft Seal Laryngeal Mask, condensation is clearly visible to confirm correct mask placement and blood, secretion or regurgitated gastric contents are easily visualised.
