Last April over 2,000 people experienced the sheer joy of running through hundreds of foamy bubbles to raise funds for The Hospice of St Francis and the incredi-bubble event is coming back to Gadebridge Park on Sunday 30 April!
Registration for the 5km bubble-tastic Bubble Rush Herts has just opened and local people are advised to snap up their places quickly as last year’s inaugural event sold out in record-time. Everybody from tots to teens and grown- ups to grandparents can take part and enjoy running, walking or dancing through safe, frothy, foam at our different coloured bubble stations.

The third annual Hertfordshire Food and Drink Awards has been launched with a call from the organisers to the public to “nominate your favourite venues now”.
Fran Martin, Events Manager at the Hospice commented, “We were overwhelmed by the popularity of Bubble Rush last year. It’s the only event of its type for miles around and I’d urge families, friends and fun-loving individuals to sign up as soon as possible to guarantee their place.
“Of course the event is all about having bubbles-of-fun but it’s also about raising as much money as we can for our Hospice, allowing us to provide care when it matters most for over 2,000 people affected by life-limiting illness in our community. Last year’s event raised a staggering £132,000 thanks to the generosity of the participants and this year we’d love to better that figure with even more bubblers!”

The awards work in two rounds. Firstly, until February 20, customers are urged to nominate their favourite venues. Voting will then take over from the nominations and continue until April 24. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in June.
