Glasgow City Mission
By the time you read this, several of our team will probably have done their stint of volunteering at the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter. I suspect it will be an eye-opening experience for us all and I hope to be able to give some of our reactions in nextmonth’sWord fromthe Cross.
Meantime, if you would like to help the Night Shelter in other ways, please focus donations till the end of March on socks (mainly men’s but some women’s too) and pants, not new, just wearable. These are in constant demand. Biscuits and jars of jam to put on the hot toast that is served each night would be welcome too. Also, please pray for both the men and women who use the Shelter and need so much assistance of every kind, and the teams who run it.
Glasgow City Mission is most grateful for everything our churchmembers can do to help its work.
