From using visuals to establishing routines, he demonstrates how doing a few of the little things right can go a long way for these wonderful students.

Not all Behavior Is an IEP Matter: The Case for Pushback Student Management Presenters: Lisa Arbogast, Esq., Pete Meslin, Alex Robinson &, Suraj Syal


It is a common misconception that inappropriate behaviors are always IEP matters when they are exhibited by students with special needs. Although certain behaviors are clearly related to disabilities, there is a very large gray area where behaviors may or may not be related to the disability. There are procedures for dealing with these situations which will be explored during this session. This session will also examine situations where behaviors are not related to a student’s disability.
