This course is designed to help the attendee understand how distracted driving is putting students at risk. Drivers are using cell phones, radios, managing student discipline, monitoring other traffic, and concentrating on where they are going. In the training attendees will see the results of how multitasking and distracted driving takes their eyes off the road. The attendee will be able to understand the need to pull to the side of the road for some tasks instead of trying to drive and complete other tasks at the same time.

On the legal and operational planning front, is the data provided by telematics just another measurement point (KPI) or does it become an invaluable policy or best practice justification tool with which a district should not do without?
