What tasks and responsibilities does your job involve? My job role involves marketing and selling the Kent healthy Business Awards to local businesses. This could be presentations at business events, working with business associations and even cold calling on site. Once they have signed on my role is to support the businesses in any way they need. This could include, policy and procedure formation, staff engagement ideas, Health and Wellbeing information giving or signposting to relevant information. Once completed my role is to assess the business to make sure they have achieved National accreditation for the work they have completed. I then complete a report for each business showing the strengths and potential improvements that could effect change even more for the wellbeing of their employees.
What do you most enjoy about your role? I love the ability to work with so many differing business, of all sizes and industries. I work with Sole traders all the way to businesses with over 10000 employees. Being able to make a difference to the employees that work for these businesses is the reason I enjoy my job so much.
What is the most difficult aspect of your everyday role?

Secondly, when working with employers illustrating the importance of collaboration with staff and not a top down dicator style of operating. Both these aspects involve relationship building to gain trust.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Most of my spare time is taken up by my very energetic boys, aged 7 and 5. When I do get some time alone I enjoy playing golf and being outdoors.
What’s your favourite food? Favourite food is Italian. Pizza and Pasta dishes are always very welcome.
Which country have you always wanted to visit and why? I always wanted to visit USA; Disney world to be precise as never was able to when I was young. Now having children and able to visit the price puts me off!!
If you had to pick a character to be from a book, TV series or historical figure, who would it be and why? Elijah from the Bible. He's done some amazing things and then at the end got taken to Heaven in a burning chariot and a whirlwind, which sounds like a great way to go if you ask me!
