CELEBRATING TEN YEARS 2004 – 2014
The threat from terrorism remains real and serious. We have seen that terrorists can strike at any time and in any place without warning. Not only police forces but the security industry and business in general have a key role to play in countering that threat.

In its 10-year history, Project Griffin has become a potent part of the continuing effort to defeat terrorism not only here in the UK but throughout the world. The ethos and the strategies pioneered by Griffin are now being delivered by every police force across the country with the support of the National Counter-terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).
Wherever Project Griffin is in place, the common thread has been commitment at every level – from the police forces themselves, from the private security sector, from business as a whole, and from the ‘Griffin champions’ who have taken it forward.
DON RANDALL, MBE Chair, City of London Crime Prevention Association
From the outset, we have been fortunate to draw on input from many experts across the counter-terrorism spectrum, all of whom have shown a strong commitment to the project at every stage.
Throughout the UK and increasingly across the globe, we have seen ‘Griffin champions’ get real results.
Project Griffin has grown internationally as a template for a partnership approach to delivering effective counter-terrorism measures, with schemes in India, South Africa, Australia, Singapore, USA and Canada.
As its national executive chairman and founder, I thank everyone for their participation and look forward to working with you to help keep our communities safe for a further ten years and beyond.
