Marion McLennan
My name is Marion McLennan and I've recently had the good fortune to be invited to join the Findhorn Flower Essences team. My background is very varied, starting out at a young age working in the hotel trade, moving on later to working in factories and shops. When I was 29, I started travelling and ended up on a spiritual quest to learn more about myself and what life was about. After various trips I was drawn to do NGO work in the UK and abroad for a number of years. This came to an end when I was involved in an accident and a close friend's illness brought me back north to my home town of Nairn. The friend who was ill at the time, happened to work for Marion at FFE, so one thing led to another and for a short time I ended up coming and helping when she was not so able. This gave me an introduction to the essences and what they were all about. I decided to settle again for a while and ended up setting up and running my own Health food / Gift shop in Nairn.
Naturally knowing about the essences and being a local product of exceptional quality I started selling them in my shop. I was lucky to be given the chance to do the Flower essences training, which gave me more insight into how they worked and how they are produced. As well as having results from them myself I have received a lot of good feedback regarding their quality and effectiveness over the years. When eventually I sold the business and my home again around 2008 I went on another spurt of travel, work exchange and personal discovery. That has been my life for the last 3 and half years until again I was drawn to return north. This time circumstances led me to the Moray area. I spent a few months in this area doing animal sitting and exchange until one day I received a call from Marion here at the essences asking me if I wanted to come and stay a while. I came over and in the space of a few weeks I had bought a house in Kinloss, started work with the team here, and a new life has started to emerge. Everything seemed to have slotted together and fall into place. I hope that in my new role in sales I can be effective and have the opportunity to introduce more people to the wonderful essences being produced here.
