OUR VISION
Communities’ Strategic Plan for 2014–17 is launched
Our vision is to create a compassionate, respectful and just community in which all people participate and flourish. To achieve this, we need to build strong and supporting communities to help people realise their potential and live the best lives they can.
We will do this through the three pillars underpinning our work: service provision, advocacy and community building.
IN THE COMING YEARS, WE WILL FOCUS ON:
- revitalising our response to older people requiring residential care - redeveloping our facilities and footprint in the CBD
- making community building and engagement the business of everyone at Uniting Communities - becoming an agency of choice for consumers and customers of our services
