At Uniting Communities, people are at the centre of all we do. Our services offer choices and opportunities to help members of the community to access support, realise their potential and live the best lives they can. With a team of some 1500 staff and volunteers, we provide vital support to more than 20,000 South Australians each year. Our services cover a broad range of areas including mental health; residential aged care and independent living; housing crisis and emergency support; disability; services for Indigenous people; financial and legal; drug and alcohol counselling; family relationships; and respite and carer support.

OUR HISTORY

Uniting Communities has a long, proud history in South Australia, founded in the work of the Methodist and Uniting Churches. Since 1901, we have strived to find new and innovative ways to serve the community. Through challenging traditional welfare models and refining the types of services we offer, we have endeavoured to test ideas and respond to the changing needs of the community.
