Do you need FC Leakage Current Clamps?
Take highly accurate leakage current measurements without powering down equipment and stopping production with the new Fluke® 368 FC and 369 FC Leakage Current Clamps. Leakage current can cause unnecessary downtime and intermittent RCD tripping of circuits, so quantifying it is an important part of a preventive maintenance program. The new Fluke® 368 FC and 369 FC Leakage Current Clamps, part of the Fluke Connect sys- tem of wireless test tools, help industrial electricians and maintenance technicians iden- tify, document, record, and compare leakage current read- ings to help prevent problems before they happen, without shutting down critical equip- ment. The rugged meters have large diameter jaws (40mm for the 368 FC; 61mm for the 369 FC).

Touchscreen technology from Carlo Gavazzi
Carlo Gavazzi introduces the EM340 3 phase energy meter, the EM300 Series which utilises touch screen technol- ogy making standard user operations such as page scrolling, programming and parameter checks not only simpler but faster. It also makes it easier to read, thus avoiding any mechanical issues normally associated with using traditional key- pads. The EM340 three-phase energy meter with 3x8 digit backlit LCD data display and integrated keypad is suited to active energy metering and cost allocation in applications up to 65A (direct connection) and dual tariff management. The meter is optionally provided with pulse output, RS485 Modbus port or M-bus port and is only 3 DIN wide. EM340 energy meter offers outstanding ease of use and also performance measuring imported and exported energy.
Installation is fast and simple, thanks to the meter’s self- power supply from the voltage reference inputs, automatic phase detection with wrong-phase-sequence

warning and (best of all) an ultra-fast application-oriented programming procedure. A selection of variables can be programmed providing for active and reactive energy measurement, options include: system variables such as kW, kvar, kVA, VLL, VLN, PF, Hz, kWdmd, kWdmd peak; phase variables including kW, kvar, kVA, VLL, VLN, A, PF. Energy measurement: kWh and kvarh (imported/ exported); kWh+ by 2 tariffs; kWh per phase.
Instantaneous variables are displayed as 3 x 4 digits, with energy meter readings to 8 dig- its. Accuracy is ±0.5% RDG (V, A), and the meter is rated Class B (kWh) according to EN50470-3 and Class 1 (kWh) of EN62053-21. The EM300 series is available as MID certified.

Dieselec is offering next generation rental range from FG Wilson
D
ieselec is offering FG Wilson’s new generation of diesel- powered rental generator sets, the Professional Rental Operator
(PRO) range. Available now, this new range offers up to 500kVA, and has been designed to run across a diversity of applications including events, construction, industrial, utilities, oil and gas, with a variety of features to ensure a dependable source of power. The new range, which complements the existing XD rental range (20-100kVA), includes the following models: • PRO150-1 • PRO150-2 (EUIIIa) • PRO275-2 (EUIIIa) • PRO500-2 The PRO range features fuel optimised engines, and all models are
50/60 Hz switchable, without the need for tools or passwords to deliver increased rental utilisation. The EUIIIa compliant products are emissions certified at 50 and 60 Hz. The sets also come with the PowerWizard 2.1+ control panel as standard, enhanced through the addition of new rental focused features. Optional synchronising panels are available to allow units to be paralleled and the PRO series provides a variable speed clutch fan drive which helps decrease noise output and improve fuel economy when running at partial load or in cooler weather. This is useful when power is required but when reduced sound output is critical. Rental specific copper cable connections designed for multiple reconnections and CEE and Clipsal sockets are also available on both the PRO150 models. A dual wall fuel tank is available offering a 110% bund/containment for fluids. This fuel tank also features a dedicated drag bar as well as environmental protections. For rental flexibility, four pole circuit breakers, three-way fuel/changeover to external tank and a battery isolator are standard on all models. Application specific optional attachments are also available, including AC battery chargers and jacket water heaters for standby applications. Service access has been optimised for fast turnaround at the rental
yard, and normal access doors are fitted with door stays to maintain 120˚ opening. Access is available to the exhaust and radiator area for cleaning through a bolted door. With a powder coated galvanised steel enclosure and featuring a
lifting arch, fork lift pockets and base frame lifting and drag points, the units have been designed with mobility in mind. FG Wilson’s new Professional Rental Operator (PRO) range complements the current XD range whilst increasing the rental offering up to 500 kVA.

T
he new FLT-SEC-PLUS 440 type 1 lightning current arresters from Phoenix Contact are specifically suitable for industrial and wind energy applications with 400/690 V networks. They enable you to
safely handle high lightning currents up to 35 kA per position. The protective devices feature Safe Energy Control (SEC) Technology, which safely prevents any line
follow current via the spark gap used. The advantage of this is that the load of the entire installation is reduced to a minimum in the event of lightning. The compact design enables space-saving and flexible installation. A separate arrester backup fuse is therefore no longer needed for currents up to 400 A. The products also impress with their high shock and vibration resistance. Sensitive downstream components are optimally protected due to the low voltage protection level. The requirements for temporary overvoltages (TOV) when used in IT systems are also satisfied. The easy-to-read status indicator and the floating remote indication contact keep the user informed
about the status of the product at all times. Recurring inspections of the protective devices are carried out quickly and easily with the Checkmaster 2 test device. The type 1 arresters are tested and certified as type 2 combination arresters.
