City Building is a highly successful and evolving business that has a proven track record of strategic delivery within


the commercial marketplace. Now one of Scotland’s largest construction


companies, City Building was established on 6 October 2006 from the former Building Services of Glasgow City Council to provide a range of repairs and maintenance, construction and refurbishment services across the public, private and third sectors. It has delivered more than £50m in cash surplus over the last 10 years, which was returned to Glasgow City Council for investment in frontline services.

The company has recently been recognised
