Rebellion – Jason Kingsley
Oxford-based Rebellion was formed in 1992 by brothers Jason and Chris Kingsley, and is now one of Europe’s leading developers of computer games. Rebellion’s Alien v Predator, Sniper Elite and Judge Dredd characterisation series established the company’s gaming credentials. Rebellion expanded successfully with mobile and tablet games. This Woodley-based business group is a turnaround success story of once underperforming companies within the automotive mechanical engineering field. Gamil Magal began restructuring operations in 2002 by introducing modern management techniques and lean practices, allowing his companies to efficiently harness their in-house skills and enabling growth. The group now has worldwide manufacturing facilities and is a Tier 1 global supplier of components to major car manufacturers.

Founder Peter Harrison opened his first Furniture Village store in Abingdon in 1989 with his business partner David Imrie. Since then, he has grown the Slough-headquartered business into the UK’s largest privately-owned furniture chain, with 42 stores throughout the country.
