HOTEL SAMOKOV
The Samokov sits in a really fantastic central location. It’s a large hotel with an equally large range of facilities. There’s a lovely indoor pool with lots of natural light courtesy of huge floor to ceiling windows. The bowling alley, table tennis and billiards will help you mix it up in the evenings. The cocktail bar is a great place to unwind when you’re not checking out the wellness area. Be sure to give the à la carte ‘Panorama’ restaurant a go too.

This hotel is on the small side by Bulgarian standards, but that just adds to the relaxed feel. The recently renovated rooms and friendly staff make the Hotel Ela a happy little place. A sauna and steam room are available to use for a little extra if your legs need some TLC. Kids will love the playroom, and there’s free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel too. Head to the lobby bar for a drink but be sure to nab a seat by the open fire.
