CAPITOLGains CALL ON WASHINGTON

TXTA’s Call on Washington contin-
ues to be a productive and vital visit for the trucking association. This year, TXTA members met with all 38 members/offices of Texas’ Congressional delegation and dis- cussed such issues as FAAAA, CA Meal Breaks, Piece-Rate Pay. The Call began with a beautiful reception at the House of Sweden hosted by Volvo and was capped by an intimate reception and dinner at the exquisite UPS townhouse. Thank you to UPS and Volvo for their generosity. A strong TXTA presence makes an
immense difference to the lawmakers in DC, reminding them of the needs of their constituents back in Texas. It is a great commitment of time and talent, and fun- damental to representing the Texas truck- ing industry in our nation's capital. Thank you to these members for their loyalty and dedication in joining us on the TXTA 2016 Call on Washington.
