Midwich has recently hired 30 new employees across the Group in a variety of locations and roles. Ranging from Brand Campaign Manager, Logistics Coordinator, Solutions Special- ist and General Sales Manager, the new employees highlight Midwich’s ongoing investment in its people and in the areas of operation. Michael brings 17 years of ex- ecutive level experience at AMX to wePresent, most recently as Vice President of Education Sales. Under Michael’s leader- ship, he grew the AMX market share in education and was responsible for multiple educa- tion-focused initiatives, includ- ing the Education Alliance Pro- gram and the AMX Innovation Awards at the annual UB Tech Conference.

Barco has announced the de- parture of its Chief Financial Officer, Carl Peeters, who has decided to pursue a new pro- fessional opportunity. Ann Desender, currently Vice Pres- ident Finance and Control, will succeed Carl as CFO for Barco. This change will become effec- tive as of September 2016. Ann Desender joined Barco in 2008 and has been leading Barco’s global finance team since 2010. Prior to joining Barco, she held management positions as Corporate Director of Finance and Reporting at Unilin and was a Senior Audit Manager at

and Deloitte. Ann holds a Mas- ter’s degree in Applied Eco- nomic Sciences from the Uni- versity of Ghent and completed an Advanced Management Program at IESE Barcelona.


DekTec's expansion program for its growing range of OEM and test and measurement prod- ucts have seen the company appoint Bernie Rietkerken to the position of director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Rietkerken will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining DekTec's worldwide distribu- tor network, developing OEM sales, and contributing to the company's overall marketing and sales strategy. He will take over these duties for vice pres- ident of sales Nilesh Mandalia, who will now focus on expand- ing the company's UK branch. Rietkerken

He began his career at Philips Digital Video Systems, where he started as a systems archi- tect before moving into product management and sales roles. Previously, he has also held management roles at Teleste and Irdeto. He comes to DekTec from SeaChange International, where he was responsible for sales and account management in Benelux, the Nordic region, the Baltics, and Ireland. "With his proven track record
