The George in Yalding is a beautiful, family run pub situated on the River Beult. Offering a good-sized, atmospheric restau- rant, varying menus are offered throughout the week, including traditional stone-baked pizzas and brunches as well as delicious Sunday roasts. OAP menus are available Monday to Wednesday. Since The George enjoys a wonderful, picturesque garden, barbeques and hog roasts are available virtually all year round as well as a large children’s play area to keep the children amused.

You can expect a warm welcome at the Krishna Indian Restaurant in Headcorn. Housed in a traditional Tudor building, the low beams create a cosy ambience. Spring Bank Holiday offer – Sunday 29th May and Monday 30th May – all Indian food served at the restaurant will be half price between 6pm-9pm. Book soon to avoid disappointment.
Teapot Island, Yalding with its huge collection of novelty teapots, is still growing and currently stands at over 8,000! Teapot Island started life in the 1950s as a tin shack which sold bait to fishermen and served up tea. Now the family run business includes a café with a tranquil garden and a wide variety of food on the menu. It also offers the chance to paint your own pottery from teddies to teapots.
