Barton Willmore,

Real-estate intelligence provider CoStar comes on board in an association involving data exchange. The Business Magazine managing director David Murray said: “We are delighted to have joined forces with CoStar and to have the backing of an organisation with both up-to-the minute research, and such considerable knowledge and expertise.”

Premier law firm Blake Morgan and planning consultancy Barton Willmore both join the prestigious list of sponsors for the Awards, which will be celebrated at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on July 7.

Blake Morgan sponsors Regeneration Project of the Year – a new category that recognises the innovative use of brownfield sites, as well as strong architectural design and the developer’s approach to environmental issues.

Regardless of the size of the scheme, judges will consider how the particular area has been revitalised for those who live or work there, and the investment and/or ROI of the project.

The firm commented: “We were delighted to be asked to sponsor one of the categories. These awards provide a platform for real-estate businesses in the region to celebrate the achievements being made in our industry.

“We are particularly keen to celebrate the changing face of our region, and look forward to supporting this event while also having the opportunity of meeting contacts, new and old.”

Blake Morgan and CoStar support new awards

This month three new organisations have linked up with the South Coast Property Awards, making for the second hat-trick of joiners in the past two months. The new partners are CoStar Group, Blake Morgan and Barton Willmore

Barton Willmore, which is the UK’s leading independent planning and design consultancy, sponsors Town/City of the Year.

In this category, judges are looking for a town or city and its management team that have implemented a successful town-centre plan. Entrants will need to show that they have adopted a clear strategy for improvement that has enhanced the town over a period of time.

Guests at these hotly-contested Awards, staged by The Business Magazine, will be entertained by Tiff Needell, television presenter and former F1 racing driver, who will be the evening’s master of ceremonies.
