9.30am - 12.30pm, Easter Fun with Faith. Calling all primary school children in Wateringbury. Join in celebrating the Easter story. Charity garden open day at Mere House, The Street, Mereworth. 2pm - 5pm. Garden admission for National Garden Scheme Open Days is £4 per person and free for children under 12. The garden is suitable for wheelchairs and dogs are welcome on leads.
Thursday March 31 Five-a-side football tournament at Kings Hill Sports Park, run by Kent Community Wardens, open to all young people in the borough aged 11-13 and 14-16.

Wednesday April 20
The Malling Society event, 8pm at the Clout Institute. An illustrated talk on “Old Larkfield” by David Thornewell, local historian and chairman of East Malling and Larkfield Parish Council. Non-members welcome. Tickets £3 per person, payable on entry.
Wednesday April 20 & 27 Nightingale Walk at Leybourne Lakes Country Park, 5.30pm - 7pm. With the ranger, see and hear the birds that call the country park their home, including nightingales and reed warblers. Meet outside the ranger’s hut. Free event but must be booked in advance. Tel 01634 243397.
Thursday April 21
Addington celebration for the Queen’s 90th Birthday. In celebration of the royal event, Addington Parish Council invites you to join them to mark the occasion. The lighting of beacons and gatherings is planned to occur across the country. Light nibbles and a drink will be available in the village hall from 8pm and the beacon will be lit at 8.30pm.

Friday April 22 Teston and Wateringbury Nursery Group fun quiz night. Teams of six, £10 per head including a sausage and chip supper. Bring your own drinks.
Tuesday April 26 Offham Parish Council will be holding its annual parish meeting from 7.30pm to 10pm in the village hall. This is an open meeting for residents and is your opportunity to raise any issues, concerns or ideas that you may have about the village.

The Malling Society event, 8pm at the Clout Institute, “The Earliest Maps of West Malling”. Mike North will show some unique, unpublished estate maps dating from 1705 and 1747. How the town has changed in 300 years. Talks are available to members and non-members at £3 per person, payable on entry.

Malling Photographic Society meets every Tuesday at West Malling Village Hall at 8pm.
The Heath Players meet at the East Malling Institute, Mill Street, at 8pm on Fridays.
Malling Rotary meets Tuesdays at 6.30pm at Spadework, Teston Road, Offham.
Malling Art Society meets every Thursday at Offham Village Hall, 8pm to 10pm.
Malling Community Choir meets every Tuesday at West Malling Baptist Church, 7.15pm to 8.45pm. £2 per adult, children free.
East Malling Women’s Institute meets at the East Malling Institute behind the King and Queen pub on the third Monday of every month, 7.45pm to 9.45pm.
Malling Stamp Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Clout Institute, West Malling High Street, at 7.30pm.

Baby and toddler group meets every Wednesday at St James the Great, East Malling. Lots of fun for all children and babies. Starts at 1.30pm.
Mereworth church children’s choir meets every Wednesday. The children’s choir is a free after- school group which rehearses at 6.30pm. Parents welcome. Conductor: Stephen Thomas, 01732 321114. Y1 and up – no need to pre-book.
Every Sunday The Manor Park, West Malling, Junior ParkRun starts at 9am with a series of 2k runs for children aged four to14.
Every Saturday
