Now in its second year, Design Showdown is a competition in which design students are challenged to imagine a live/work space that combines innovative design, functionality, and elements of social responsibility. A partnership between Design New England magazine, the Boston Design Center, and ASID New England, the competition is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in interior design or interior architecture. Conducted in two rounds and culminating in a live presentation of students' designs, Design Showdown showcases the next generation of talent from the design world.
