A Range Rover was stolen from Carpinus Close,Walderslade and found burned out. A car was vandalised on the driveway of
a home in Chatham Road, Sandling. A van parked in Iris Close,Walderslade
was broken into and tools stolen. The side window of a van parked in Forestdale Road, Boxley was smashed but nothing was taken. A trailer was taken from Dunn Street
Road, Bredhurst. There was an aempted break-in at a
house in Harp Farm Road, Boxley, but nothing was stolen. A laptop was among items stolen from a garage in a block in Sandling Lane, Sandling. An 08-registration grey Nissan Navara
was stolen from Thurnham Lane, Thurnham. A car parked on the drive of a property
in Coltsfoot Drive, Bearsted Park was broken into and a laptop was stolen. A shed was broken into at a property in PilgrimsWay, Thurnham and a Stihl leaf blower was stolen. A vehicle was broken into in a car park
in Len ValleyWalk, Downswood but nothing was taken. A handbag containing cash and cards
was among items stolen from a Vauxhall van parked on a driveway in Thurnham Lane, Thurnham. Jewellery was stolen from a property in Alkham Road, Vinters Park. A red and black mini digger was stolen
from the garden of a property in Runham Lane, Lenham.

as a small-scale gathering on the Green, organised by the parish council, some 10 years ago. However, the council pulled out
two years ago, arguing it had grown too large and was beyond the scope of the council’s organisa- tional powers. Mrs Conner said: “It has been a
steep learning curve, but one that we have all relished.We have been delighted with the tremendous support and advice from people experienced in this field. As a re- sult, we are delighted to have re- ceived sponsorship from a number of local companies, including The Rose, the Marriott Tudor Park and letting agents Century 21.
“Any profits from the event will
be donated to Maidstone Age UK, which runs the Goodman Centre in Bearsted, the NSPCC and Rain- bows – the group which introduces girls aged five to seven to Guiding, of which there are three in Bearsted.” As well as a wide range of live
music from local groups, bands and choirs, there will be children’s entertainment, boutique food stalls selling Kentish produce, real ales and a bar, courtesy of The Rose Inn, Ashford Road. Mrs Conner has expressed her thanks for all the support given so far and said: “We are looking for- ward to a fantastic event.” Tickets cost £10 for adults, £6 for concessions and under 16s, with family tickets priced £28. Under 3s go free.

Two trailers were stolen from outside a property in Thurnham Lane, Thurnham. An 07-registered silver Ford Transit flatbed truck was stolen from High Street, Lenham. A Suzuki vehicle parked inWest Street, Harrietsham was broken into and an aempt made to steal it. Nothing appeared to be missing. An office at a pub in PilgrimsWay, Thurnham was broken into. It was not know what was stolen. A home in RobinsAvenue, Lenham was broken into and searched. It was not known what was missing. Scaffolding was stolen from outside flats
in Ashford Road, Maidstone. A vehicle was deliberately damaged in
Bushy Grove, Kingswood. A sat nav and tools were stolen from a
van parked in a hotel car park in Ashford Road, Maidstone. A white Ford Transit was stolen from
farm premises in Upper Street, Leeds. A property was broken into in Chestnut
Drive, Kingswood but nothing appeared to be missing.
A car parked in Eyhorne Street, Hollingbourne was broken into and a sat nav was stolen. A barn behind a home in Rumstead
Lane, Hucking was broken into and a blue Apache quad bike and a red mini motorbike were stolen. A home in Hogbarn Lane, Frinsted was broken into and a Toshiba laptop and an iPad were stolen. Outbuildings and a container were broking into at a farm in ColyersWents, Hucking. Tools including a concrete breaker were stolen. Eggs were thrown at a vehicle in
Willington Street, scratching the bonnet. Both wheels were stolen from a bicycle
locked to a drain pipe in the back garden of a home inWillington Green. A van parked on a driveway in Sandy Mount, Bearsted,was broken into and tools were stolen. A car parked in a car park in Yew Tree
Close, Lordswood was broken into and a car stereo stolen. Containers on a site in Pilgrims Way, Thurnham were broken into and equip- ment stolen. A building site in Crismill Lane, Thurn-
ham was broken in to and items were stolen. A silver trailer was stolen from a barn in Scragged Oak Road, Detling.
