Hiroshige III (Tokube Ando): A collection of 35 loose coloured woodblock prints originally


produced for a National Business Expo in 1877 which illustrate work and business across Japan at the beginning of the Meiji Period in a complete series of 118.


Illustrations include: Bear Hunting, Hat Making, Selling Fish, Otter Fishing, Catching and Training Hawks, Arrow Root Processing, Catching Salmon etc. Each print has a number of Japanese 'text cartouches' providing a commentary on the illustrated activities
