(Number 107 of 675 copies). Large Folio. Bound in faux vellum parchment; yapp edges with strong silk ties. Gilt panelled spine and boards with bold black double rules. Top-edge gilt; others untrimmed edges as issued. Silk register. Engraved vignette on the title page. The full title reads: The church book of Bunyan Meeting, 1650-1821: being a reproduction in facsimile of the original folio in the possession of the trustees of Bunyan Meeting at Bedford, entitled 'A booke containing a record of the acts of a congregation of Christ in and about Bedford and a brief account of their fi rst gathering'. John Bunyan fi rst is mentioned on 28 June 1657. A fi ne copy with strong local interest and retaining the original titled slip case.
