VMZINC PIGMENTO Green Double and Single Lock standing seams have been used on the roof and facades in Leadingham, Jameson, Rogers and Hynd’s design of East Bankhead Farm, Monikie. Set in the open landscape of Meigle, Perthshire the house was designed as a contemporary barn with a

distorted roof that responds to the gently rolling landscape. The subtle zinc colour complements the rural environment while blending seamlessly with other envelope materials and has led to a Scottish Design Award for housing in a rural context and a RIBA Design Award.

Spectus Systems is inviting everyone to take a look at its brand new website after it has undergone a com- plete redesign with three core priorities: functionality, aesthetics and ease-of-use across a range of devices. The aim from the outset was to provide a better expe- rience for professional, trade and homeowner visitors

while encouraging greater engagement and delivering a mix of product informa- tion, industry news and useful features. Basics such as drop-down menus on the new Spectus site are well researched and designed to be clear, simple and tailored to different users’ needs. The site also includes a search facility with results listed in a scroll-through format. The overall appearance is clean, fresh and uncluttered.
