A late 19th century Meissen twin handled urn and cover, decorated with hand painted panels of Court figures in a garden, the handles formed from flowering and fruiting stems, set with putti and cherub, the pierced domed cover with a bouquet of flowers surmount, on a circular plinth base, impressed number ‘58’, incised numbers ‘2745 50’ and blue crossed swords mark, 59cm high.


Provenance: Purchased from Kinfauns Castle, Perth by the current vendor’s late mother circa 1930 as detailed on a hand written note within the urn. £2000-3000

A group of four Chinese porcelain blue and white jars, Qing Dynasty, to include; a jar and cover decorated with shaped oval panels of figures on a cracked ice ground, double ring mark, 15cm high, a slightly smaller jar and cover decorated with shaped oval panels of figures on a cracked ice ground under a dentil border, double ring mark, 14cm high, a jar decorated with prunus on a cracked ice ground, four character mark, 14cm high, and a smaller jar decorated with prunus on a cracked ice ground, double ring mark, 12cm high, (4). £50-100
