616. A Chinese bronze censer, bearing six character Xuande mark but Qing Dynasty, the plain body with slightly tapered loop handles, raised on a carved dark wood stand with five inverted scroll feet, one foot missing, 12cm diameter x 6.5cm high (10cm high on stand).


Provenance: Brought back from China in the 19th century by a family member who travelled there as a Missionary. £300-500

618. A pair of Chinese bamboo vases, Qing Dynasty, carved with figures and pavilions in forests of bamboo and pine, 35cm high.

A Chinese embroidered silk panel, Qing Dynasty, the gold ground worked in pink, blue, purple and green coloured threads to depict a central roundel of Court figures, the ground decorated with peony, other flowers, long tailed birds, butterflies and peacocks, within a scrolling foliate border, fringed, 175cm x 186cm excluding fringe. £300-500
