round 1,000 of the 10,000 babies born across the East Midlands each year are cared for at the Neonatal Units at Nottingham University Hospitals, including babies born at other hospitals requiring special medical or surgical care.


Premature and sick newborn babies


receive specially tailored care at the two units at Nottingham City Hospital and the Queen’s Medical Centre, where parents and families also receive the care and advice they need.


Our Tiny Babies Appeal is vital in helping to provide state-of-the-art equipment, carrying out research to improve care for


tiny patients, and supporting parents and families who have premature or sick newborn babies, at what is a difficult and emotional time.
