HAMPEL SAID: “That was a really tough night. From the beginning, I couldn’t race how I wanted. I don’t actually know why. I couldn’t find the right line and the good speed in my bike . That’s why I made so many mistakes on the track. “Almost until the end I was fighting to be in the semi-


final. But in the end, I tried to pick it up. I worked with my team in the pits a lot on the bikes and we found something maybe not special, but something good. “When you can start on a good bike, it’s easier to make


a choice between the lines you want to race. My starts were better in the end too, which is most important. Every point is important, so I fought until the end. Now the season is going very quickly. There are a lot of meetings and that’s good. There are still a lot of important competitions in front of us. I’ll tr y to go like I am now and we’ll see how everything goes.”
