show’s congressman Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, and business is booming for the makers of the WaterRower. Now, this unique take on one of the more traditional pieces of


gym kit has reached Dubai. So what’s all the fuss about? Unlike a conventional rowing machine, which uses air for resistance, the


WaterRower uses water to test your stamina and create a more realistic rowing experience. In a nutshell, the harder you row, the more resistance you face from the water. And instead of rowing to a ticking clock on the little electronic screen in front of your nose, there’s a Lycra-clad instructor at the front of the class giving orders while an uptempo playlist plays in the background. The WaterRower is made from solid ash (for its ability to
