win and Nicole Fende, entrepreneurs and authors. Goodwin is the author of Girlfriend, It’s Your Time, as well as an award-winning instructional designer and content branding strategist. She founded the Bankable Bril- liance University, and her goal is helping authors, speakers and thought leaders make more money with their message. Fende is the author of How to be a Finance Rock Star, and is a credentialed actuary with experience as a CFO and investment banker. Her goal is to assist clients in making numbers and profits fun. The Profit Beyond the Book Telesummit will show how to brand expertise to make it bankable and provide clear, practical and proven ways to monetize beyond book sales.

Annual Conscious Living Expo in April


he Lake Harriet Spiritual Community (LHSC) will hold its third annual Con-


scious Living Expo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, April 4. Located in the Linden Hills neighborhood, LHSC is a thriving spiritual com- munity that honors and explores the unique connection to the Divine. The expo will include a variety of exhibitors, workshops and demonstrations in the areas of holistic health, green products, alternative energy, nutrition and other health-relat- ed activities. There will be refreshments available as well as free Internet access. “The expo has proven to be a great way to connect with our local community, to include our neighbors and bring people into the Linden Hills neighborhood,” states organizer Gary Perisian. “There are a lot of green and holistic alternatives in this area. We continue to bring about more awareness for more people as the Lake Harriet Spiritual Community is all about living more consciously.”

his spring, the Audubon Center of the North Woods (ACNW), near Sandstone, will once again be holding their unique, all-inclusive Food & Farms Weekend, from April 17 to 19. This one-of-a-kind experience brings togeth- er people committed to farm-to-table sustainable food practices. Throughout the weekend, participants attend a variety of expert-led workshops, off-site field trips to local farmers and producers, and enjoy engaging evening presenters. “Grow it, raise it, preserve it, prepare it” is the tagline of this special event, with its primary focus on assisting participants in getting back to basics while also learning new skills surrounding the most elemental of our needs and pleasures: food.
