2015 Hiring from Underutilized

Populations, presented by Rosie Digout Ford of Lethbridge Family Services and Doug Sanders and Linda Rawbon of Joblinks Emplotment Centre, will focus on the benefits of hiring those with disabilities and hiring from other populations underutilized in Lethbridge’s workforce.

Temporary Foreign Workers

will be presented by Mark Holthe of Holthe Tilleman LLP. Mark is an immigration lawyer and this session will

focus on the legal aspects of Canada’s current Temporary Foreign Workers Program.

The workshop will be

capped off with a keynote presentation from Eddie Lemoine, international speaker, author and employee engagement expert. Eddie will explain how to engage and retain current employees and turn a business into a desirable and in-demand place to work.

Following the workshop, the Lethbridge Chamber of

Commerce will give businesses an opportunity to hire their next employees at Opportunity Knocks Job and Career Fair 2015 on February 11, 2015.

Opportunity Knocks will

help organizations to connect with individuals of all skill levels, from unskilled labour to professionals. Last year, over 1,000 job seekers attended Opportunity Knocks. Opportunity Knocks is different from other job and career fairs in that it will bring organizations face-to-

face with individuals looking for work immediately.

The Lethbridge Chamber

of Commerce is proud to host both of these events, working on your behalf to address labour issues in Lethbridge in southern Alberta, and representing you as The Voice of Business.

You can register for both

of these events, and find out more about the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce by visiting us online at www.lethbridgechamber.com
