Get Fit with Winter Walk Day! Feb 4th, 2015. This family friendly day is centred around encouraging Albertans to keep moving during the winter months and walk at-least 15 minutes per day. To register, or for information on everything
that is happening locally, visit
winterwalkday.com. The Sugarbowl is the place to slip and slide down Lethbridge’s own toboggan hill, located right in the middle of the city. This “sweet” spot is the perfect place to take the young ones for a day of snow play. When Lethbridge’s favourite park, Henderson Lake freezes
there’s even more fun to be had! Swing by this centrally- located park to slip on the skates, just make sure to pay attention to signage, you can even visit
lethbridge.ca to see when the ice is safe. Castle Mountain Resort is a top hill approximately an hour and a half away from Lethbridge. With 2833 vertical
feet to explore, you may want to invest in a season’s pass! Cat Skiing is an activity
growing in popularity and also offered through the resort. Head Southeast for Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park for their outdoor skating trail, snow luge, kick sledding and more!
