ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: To be eligible, a candidate must:


1. Be a United States citizen who has graduated from or will have graduated from an accredited high school prior to the enrollment date of the fall semester of the year for which selection is made.


2. Meet the requirements for The admission to NC A&T State


University. You must include a copy of your acceptance letter.


3. Provide an official copy of high school transcript reflecting a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.


4. Have a combined score of 1000 or higher on the Critical Reading and Math Sections of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or scored 22 or higher on the Composite Score on the Admissions College Test (ACT). Financial need will not be considered when making selection.


5. Include three (3) Recommendation/ Evaluation letters. Do not include relatives.

typed and have an official signature or be emailed by the author of the reference letter.


6. Complete both one (1) page essay questions.


7. Include a current photograph.


8. Provide a copy of a current resume.


SELECTION:


The Tidewater Chapter Scholarship Committee


shall have the


responsibility for the final selection of the recipients within the eligibility and criteria guidelines.


PAYMENT PROCEDURES:


Payment will be made directly to


North Carolina A&T State


University upon verification of enrollment. In order to retain the scholarship,


the recipient
