Transfinder in September won a con- tract to provide


standardized routing


software for all 200 school districts in Maine following a proposal process that began in February. Rick Soules, the state transportation director at the depart- ment of education, said the Web-enabled routing software will be provided to schools at no cost. “Tis will eliminate the costly and time-consuming efforts by local school units in procuring the same technology from a variety of vendors,” he added. Transfinder is partnering with Core Education and Consulting Solutions. “We are excited to work with CORE to


help school districts throughout Maine integrate their district data into our soft- ware system so they can create an optimal transportation management system that meets their unique geographic and demo- graphic requirements,” said Antonio Civi- tella, Transfinder’s president & CEO.
