We Wagged n we Walked


On Saturday 13th September, in beautiful sunshine, 25 friendly dogs and their owners took part in our final Wag'n'Walk of the year, a 2 mile sponsored accessible dog walk around Eastham County Park.


All dogs were treated to a goody bag full of treats kindly donated by Petsafe UK, including teeth- cleaning toys and harnesses. We then ran competitions to find the best dressed dog, the best behaved dog and the most money raised. We held a raffle which was full of pooch perfect prizes including a doggy hamper, vouchers for a full dog groom and mystery goody bags.


Wag n' Walk is our sponsored dog walk series, taking place annually in parks across Cheshire to raise money for NMC. This was the 3rd time we have visited Eastham Park with Wag n' Walk and it was a great success, raising nearly £300 before we had even received all of the sponsorship money!


Over the past two years, Wag n' Walk sponsored dog walk events across Wirral and Cheshire have helped to raise over £5,000 for NMC and we plan to have another Wag ‘n' Walk next year in 2015. Entry is just £5, which includes a brilliant goody bag and chances to win lots of prizes. Full details will be on our website soon.

Donations Wanted!


We always need donated goods for our stalls, so if you have any unwanted Christmas gifts, bottles (for a bottle tombola), knitted items, toys etc, then please don’t hesitate to bring them in. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
