Celebrate the arrival

of a new family member with a Naming Ceremony.

The Syrett Suite, situated in a beautiful Victoria Mansion in the heart of Berkshire, is the ideal setting for you, your family and friends to celebrate the arrival of your new baby or child with a naming ceremony.

A naming ceremony is non-religious and provides a unique opportunity for a very special ceremony to welcome a baby or an adoptive child into the family, or a step child into a new family unit. Your personal ceremony will be designed to reflect your personal choices. Expressions of support or commitment can be made by those people who will fill a special role in your child’s future life. Reading, poems and music can be included to enhance your ceremony and you can include the presentation of a special gift. Our experienced and friendly celebrants will do all they can to help make your ceremony very special.

Bracknell Forest Council is pleased to offer the Syrett Suite for your naming ceremony. Approached by a long enchanting driveway, leading to the magnificent Victorian mansion, the Syrett Suite is set within Easthampstead Park and its elegant features will provide the perfect setting for your special occasion. The ceremonial room can accommodate parties of up to 56 guests and includes a CD player for music and an induction loop for guests who may be hard of hearing. Designated areas within the grounds are available for photographs and there is ample free car parking for all guests.

Alternatively, we can conduct your ceremony in any of the Council’s licensed approved venues, or even in a local venue, your home or a marquee in the garden, subject to approval.
