he Link Foundation is a Maidenhead based children’s charity committed to improving the lives of children and their families in the local community and surrounding areas.

We don’t always see them around us but there are many families quietly struggling to give their children the kind of basics many of us take for granted. At The Link Foundation, we aim to help these children by providing grants to cover their specific needs.
The Link Foundation helps all children in all circumstances – this could be children living with a disability, children who have suffered parental illness or desertion, children who are living in a domestic violence refuge or children whose parents simply can’t afford the basics a child needs. Each year we are delighted to be able to help hundreds of our local children and their families.
Uniquely, the Link Foundation works very closely with local partners such as healthcare and educational professionals who are right at the
heart of the community and can identify, and refer to us, the children who will most benefit from our help. We regularly provide grants to help children enjoy a significant improvement to their lives, whether it’s to cover emergency needs or to buy something more long term. This can mean giving vouchers to buy essentials such as shoes or school uniforms. We also provide funding for essential household items such as beds, cookers and fridges as well as funding opportunities for children to be included in a school trip or a short break away.
As the Link Foundation works on a tiny infrastructure, we pride ourselves on the fact that 95% of our budget goes to help disadvantaged children.
We believe at The Link Foundation that even a small gesture can make a big difference in a child’s life.
