MORE controversial sites for fu- ture housing in the south of the borough have been put forward as part of Maidstone Council’s strate- gic housing land allocation as- sessment (SHLAA). Some, or all, of the sites could be adopted into the Maidstone local plan being debated as part of the council’s bid to build a further 19,600 homes by 2031. Equally, all could be thrown out
