Father Loss Healing Workshop A

workshop entitled The Mysteries of Father Loss Heal- ing will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 14 at the Berkshire of Burnsville Community Room, in Burns- ville. The workshop is sponsored by the Sacred Wheel Center for Grief and Healing, and led by its founder, Cheryl Downey, a retired hospice chaplain and minister of sacred arts. The workshop will honor and explore the energy

bonds that many people hold with their deceased fathers. It is intended to help those dealing with grief deepen awareness of their connections with their fathers, discover what needs healing and empower its release into beauty. A process of guided meditation around the ancient sacred wheel will include the four basic aspects of awareness: physical, emotional, spiritual and mental. Participants also will create a piece of sacred art to honor their fathers and the workshop experience and discoveries. “Father’s Day can trigger our unique sense of loss and grief,” explains Downey. “We

may feel much emotion years later, or maybe not know what we feel. No matter what is in our minds and hearts, seen or unseen, there are potentially powerful mysteries to be discovered—grief mysteries that are like sacred shards of truth held within but working their way to the light, waiting to bring healing and renewed energy to our lives.”

Cost: $20. Location: 13901 Echo Park Cir., Burnsville. For more information or to register, call 612-272-3977, email Healing@SacredWheelCenter.com or visit Sacred WheelCenter.com.
