olding Joinery has been based in the centre of Clevedon for nearly 60


years. The company has been run by Brian Golding for over 25 years, with a very highly skilled team of joiners, and was set up by his father back in the late fifties.


The main core of manufacturing are windows, doors, conservatories, stairs and porches.


The workshops in Moor Lane boast to having one of the latest 4 Axes, CNC machinery that most joinery companies can only wish for, to produce today’s high performance timber windows and doors.


The company is still going from strength to strength, securing projects not only locally, but from all over the South West.


Brian says “We work with our customers, offering a selection of


timber choices and suggesting designs that the client would not have thought of. Sample windows are left with our customers so they can get a feel of what’s on offer.


Nearly all our joinery is supplied with a pre-finished spray application from our spraying rooms, pre-glazed and shrink wrapped so the product arrives to our customer in the same condition it left the joinery shops.


We work to the latest building regulations, and supply all external joinery with CE Markings and the required ‘U’ values which came in to force in July 2013.


All our windows, conservatories and doors are supplied with high security locking and double weather gaskets as standard.


Our work has recently taken us on a two year contract at the


Bishops Palace in Wells and Exeter, also manufacturing bars and screens to the chain of Premier Inn Hotels in the South West, and to the more recent high-profile contract of manufacturing new reception units and an Alter table for Exeter Cathedral.”
