he first annual Minneapolis Yoga Conference will take place April 25 to 27 at the Hilton Doubletree Park Place Hotel, in St. Louis Park. The event begins at 4 p.m. on Friday and contin- ues until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Hundreds of yogis from across the Midwest will gather for this expansive weekend of growth, learning, healing, community and fun. This is the first conference of its kind in Minnesota. address and book signing by Matthew Sanford, followed by a “Yogi Social Hour” with special guests. Workshops will run throughout each day on Sat- urday and Sunday, in addition to live Kirtan music with Suzanne Sterling on Saturday night and a vibrant yoga marketplace all weekend long.

Reflection and Relaxation Day at The Well

he Well, of St. Paul, will hold its monthly Reflection and Relaxation
Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 14. The day includes a guided reflection and a room for personal quiet or artistic cre- ation; choice of two 30-minute holistic services (reflexology, craniosacral thera- py, healing touch, spiritual direction) and a garden-fresh lunch. This event takes place on the second
Monday of each month from October through May. There are private spaces as well as a gathering room. The day concludes with a closing ritual. The Well is regarded as an “urban oasis honoring the sacred, the self and the Earth in community, inspired by the spirit of St. Francis.”
