Founder’s Notes
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: PARKER Parker is a gorgeous 6 yr old appaloosa cross gelding up for adoption.

Nice muscular build, he was recently gelded and found to be trained to ride, compliant but greenbroke only. He stands 15 hands high and is very sweet with people. Super potential for this boy. He might have a little arab in him as he twirls his head in turnout sometimes. Super nice handsome boy. Adoption fee $500. Parker is located at FalconRidge Equine Rescue in Valley Center (San Diego), CA.

I love this issue! I’m ready to go on a horse vacation and get my first Miniature Horse! Owning a Mini or two is a plan I’ve had for a long time!! Even though we are in our 28th year I still love reading every issue cover to cover before we send our issue to the printer. I always learn something new or affirm a belief I have about horses.

Watch for our upcoming annual California Horseman’s Directory, which is due out at the end of this month. We had a good turn-out of advertisers for this next edition. Next month we feature dressage, May is our barns, trucks, trailers and Spanish Breeds issue.
