The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with registration, socializing and snacks; the presenta- tion will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Quinlan’s talk is part of the meeting of the North Central Herbalist Guild (NCHG), which meets the first Wednesday of each month at Christ Lutheran Church, in Minneapolis. Quinlan herself contracted a

vector-borne disease in 2006. After thinking she had the flu, she dis- covered the book Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Lyme Disease. She then found a Lyme support group and began a five-year journey of healing. “I broke through to the other side of Lyme and replaced my pain story with an uplifting, healing story,” she says. Quinlan says she is committed to helping people choose plant medi- cine, whole-food nutrition and body- mind-spirit healing as their choice for healing naturally from chronic illness and living on purpose and not in reac- tion to any disease or limitation. “It is possible to tame the tick and
heal chronic Lyme disease naturally, as well as other chronic illnesses,” Quinlan says.
